Description

NA The Defense Contracting Command - Washington (DCC-W), on behalf of the Motor Transport Directorate, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additiona l information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are hereby being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is Request For Quotation DASW01-02-T-0074. Solicitation document and incor porated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. ___ DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall remove all Astro Spectra Mobile Radio, Dual Status/Message Head and all existing wires, grounding, fuses and antenna syst ems. Contractor shall install Astro Spectra Mobile Radio, Dual Status/Message Head and antenna systems without disturbing or not to interfere with the existing cable or wiring in vehicle. The contractor shall remove mobile phones, all existing wires and an tennas. Contractor shall install mobile phones and antennas without disturbing or not to interfere with the existing cable or wiring in vehicle. In Order to remove or install a STU III (Classified Crypto Equipment), the contractor should have a Comsec Acco unt and Clearance with the National Security Agency. Contractor will coordinate the work schedule with the Contract Officer Representative (COR). The contractor will remove and install equipment during normal work hours (0700 to 1600 hours). All work will be performed at the Motor Transport Directorate?s Garage located at 501 S. 15th Street, Arlington, Virginia. ___ APPLICABLE PROVISIONS: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 ?Offer or Representations and Certifications--Commercial I. items with their Offers?; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items ( includes the following 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, and 52.222-37). ___ The period of performance covered is 01 October 2002 through 31 March 2003. Quotations are to be submitted in the following format (QUANTITY x UNIT PRICE = TOTAL PRICE): CLIN 1 - R emoval of Mobile Phones 30 x Unit Price = Total Price CLIN 2 - Installation of Mobile Phones 30 x Unit Price = Total Price CLIN 3 - Removal of STU III 3 x Unit Price = Total Price CLIN 4 - Installation of STU III 4 x Unit Price = Total Price CLIN 5 - Remov al of Astro Spectra Radios with Status/Message Head 59 x Unit Price = Total Price CLIN 6 - Installation of Astro Spectra Radios with Status/Message Head 56 x Unit Price = Total Price GRAND TOTAL No oral quotes will be honored. The government intends to awa rd a Firm Fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror offering the lowest overall price.
