Description

NA Z--This solicitation is unrestricted. Estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The assigned NAICS is 234930 (SIC is 1629) with a Size Standard of $28,500,000.00. Construction completion is 180 calendar days. This solicitati on will be issued as an Invitation for Bid. Project consists of the construction of a stone jetty located in Coan River on the north side of Walnut Point. Jetty abuts the shoreline approximately 100 feet from the tip of Walnut Point and extends approxim ately 400 feet channelward of the mean high water. This solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the government chooses to issue this solicitation will be on the web si te; this solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors may view and/or download solicitation information from the internet at https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. All contractors must go to this web site to register as a plan holder. In order to regi ster each contractor must have a valid Dun and Bradstreet number and cage code number assigned for the specific location being registered and also be registered in the central contractor database. Each contractor need only register once for each solicitat ion. Only registered plan holders will be provided the solicitation. This procurement will be advertised as an Invitation of Bid. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Cont ractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. For information regarding CCR registration, the CCR Web site can be accessed at http://www.ccr2000.com. Other information regarding registration can be obtained through CCR Assist ance Center (CCRAC) at 1-888-227-2423. A paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitati on is scheduled to be issued on or about 6 August 2002 with bids due on or about 6 September 2002.
