Description

NA Z?Building 320 Administrative Area HVAC and Steam Cleaning Area, Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The SIC Code is 1542/NAICS 233320. Estimated cost of construction is between $250, 000.00 and $500,000 .00. Completion no later than 300 calendar days. The work consists of demolition of existing HVAC units, ductwork, and electrical lighting; install new HVAC, ductwork, controls, and lighting; removal of existing paint and floor coating; install new paiti ng and floor coating; install pit covers. Issue o/a 12 Aug 02; opening o/a 12 Sep 02. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. The media t hrough which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be on the web site. Contractors? requests for solicitations and quotations will be performed through Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). Contractors may register to be placed on the bid ders/offerors mailing lists by going to the web site: https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. Contractors may view, print and download solicitation information, including the Bidders Mailing List from this Internet site. All responsible sources may submit a bid , which shall be considered by the agency. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. For informati on regarding, the CCR web site can be accessed at http://www.ccr2000.com. Other information regarding registration can be obtained through CCR Assistance Center (CCRAC) at 1-888-227-2423. Additionally a paper form for registration may be obtained from t he DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged businesses contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB ce rtification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors.
