- TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE: The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory/Western Ecology Division (WED), Corvallis, Oregon, is seeking qualified sources to provide on-site operations and maintenance support services located at (1) 200 S.W. 35th Street, Corvallis, Oregon 97333; (2) 1350 S.E. Goodnight Avenue, Corvallis, Oregon 97333; (3) 3731 S.W. Jefferson Way, Corvallis, Oregon 97333; and (4) 2111 S.E. Marine Science Drive, Newport, Oregon 97365. The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supervision, materials, and other items/services necessary to perform facility operation and maintenance (O&M). Support services required include general support services, repair, modification, improvement, engineering support, shipping/receiving, stockroom maintenance, vehicle records/reports, and maintenance and repair. Skills required include, but are not limited to, a program manager, heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration mechanics, maintenance mechanics, electrician, painter, general labor, and other skills common to building operations and maintenance trades. The contractor is expected to perform this support with an on-site work force and to have experience in operation and management of facilities. The facility at 200 S.W. 35th Street has twelve buildings with approximately 92,600 square feet on a ten acre site. The facility at 1350 S.E. Goodnight Avenue has eight buildings with approximately 18,600 square feet on a ten acre site located approximately five miles from the shops and offices at 200 S. W. 35th Street. The facility at 2111 S. E. Marine Science Drive, Newport, has three buildings with approximately 44,000 square feet on a three acre site. This procurement is a follow-on to contract 68D98044 with Transcontinental Enterprises, Inc. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561210 with a size standard of $20M in average annual receipts over the preceding three fiscal years, applies. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. EPA anticipates awarding a Firm-fixed-price contract as a result of the solicitation. The contract will consist of a twelve (12) month base period and four option periods of twelve (12) months each. The solicitation, PR-NC-02-10618, is expected to be available on or about 08/15/02. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the Request For Proposal (RFP) issuance date. The RFP and any subsequent amendments will be available via the Internet World Wide Web at http:www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd only. Hard copies or disketts will not be available. Telephone and FAX requests will not be honored. It will be your responsibility to frequently check the referenced internet site for any amendments. No further synopsis will be issued.
