Description

On or about Tuesday, July 23, 2002 plans and specifications will be available at a cost of $125.00 per set (non refundable) from the Northeast Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300 to upgrade five (5) elevators at the Processing and Distribution Center, 25 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the upgrade and modernization of five (5) elevators within the operating (24 hour) Processing and Distribution Center. The estimated cost of the work is between $1,800,000.00 and $2,000,000.00 with construction completion no later than 410 calrndar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Award of this project will be based on price and other factors as outlined in the solicitation package. There will be a preproposal meeting held on site (25 Dorchester Avenue, Maintenance Manager's Office) on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly suggested. Along with a price proposal, each prospective offeror must furnish specific information to be considered for this project (i.e. experience/reference forms). All offerors will also be required to submit a company health and safety plan along with their proposal. Failure to submit all of the information requested may result in rejection of offer.
