- The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to solicit for the evaluation, repair and calibration of test equipment in support of the National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC), 1520 E. Bannister Road, Building #1, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. The period of performance is for a base period of twelve months, and two-twelve month option periods. This will be a requirements type contract under the authority of FAR Part 16. The Government does not have specifications for the items requiring repair. The Government will require the perspective contractor to package, pick-up and deliver equipment. The Contractor shall package and pick-up identified equipment within five (5) working days after receipt of oral or written notification. The Contractor shall provide a written evaluation report within fifteen (15) working days after receipt of equipment. All contractors interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation must submit a request in writing to the attention of Jackie Shewmaker, to the address stated herein. Facsimile requests will be accepted at (816) 426-7530. A Solicitation will be issued approximately fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice. Proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days thereafter. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 811219.
