Description

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health located at 5555 Ridge Road in Cincinnati, Ohio is requesting quotes to provide, deliver, rig into place, and factory start up a Carrier Model 30GXN090-A-6-ICY Air Cooled Chiller OR EQUAL. Quotes must have cut sheets enclosed to compare equal models to the Carrier 30GXN090-A-6-ICY?s performance characteristics. Unit must have the following: Dual independent circuits for compressor redundancy High part load efficiency Twin compressors CPNLDPT-01 Data Control Port Assembly or EQUAL 30HX-900-031 Energy Management Module or EQUAL Two (2) Year Full Warranty Five (5) Year Parts Warranty Factory Startup Manufacturer Specified Vibration Control MODELS MUST MEET THE NOMINAL TONNAGE AT 95 DEGREES F OUTSIDE AIR. Site visits or questions regarding the Request for Quotations can be addressed by calling Mr. David Mersch, Project Officer, at 513-533-8301. Quotes that do not provide delivery, rigging, and factory startup will be considered incomplete and not evaluated. Enclose Cut Sheets for ?OR EQUAL? units. Chiller Evaluation Criteria 1) Eighty (80) Nominal Tons ? MUST MEET MINIMUM OF EIGHTY (80) TONS FULL LOAD. 2) Comprehensive package ? NO EXCLUSIONS of factor startup and/or rigging, delivery. Interested vendors are invited to submit a response, within TEN (10) calendar days after publications of this notice, which must include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the above requirements. No solicitation document exists, however, all responses from vendors demonstrating their capabilities will be fully considered. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this purchase. FAX responses are acceptable FAX NO. (513) 533-8283. All offerors are requested to respond with their written offered pricing and provide all data as requested not later than 4:30 P.M. (EST), August 9, 2002.
