Description

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI)Schuylkill, located at Minersville, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for contract testing administrator services at FCI Schuylkill. The service is to be provided on site. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with the possibility of two one-year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government not to exceed a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantity for each twelve (12) month period of the contract is 660 one-hour sessions. The instructor will be responsible for all education testing such as correcting and scoring of the ABLE/SABC, PreGed, and CASAS exams, also responsible for interpreting educational data collected from the above mentioned tests. They will be responsible for the inventory, supervision and preparation of the official GED exam and the NOCTI exam. Instructor must have a Bachelor's Degree from a state accredited college, or university and must provide verifiable evidence of experience in teaching, training, counseling, or testing. A security investigation/clearance is required. The solicitation will be available on or after July 29, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
