Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to negotiate a sole source, fixed price contract to the State of Florida, Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services, Division of Forestry, Tallahassee, FL. This award is for the construction of fire lines at Lakes Wales Ridge National Wildlife Refuge, Titusville, FL as required under Cooperative Agreement #14-16-0004-86-948 between U.S. Department of the Interior and the State of Florida, Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services, Division of Forestry. Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1,(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion. No responses are necesary.
