- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-02-T-0091 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-7. This solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to REMOTEC, Inc. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation sets forth the requirements for providing Hazardous-duty Mobile Robots. The purchase will consist of five (5) Each REMOTEC ANDROS F6A (#E2450-0100), Double-Articulated, Tracked Chassis; Manipulator Arm with Shoulder and Elbow Pivot; 12 inch Gripper with Continuous Wrist Rotate; Color Arm Camera with Auto Iris/Focus, Wide Angle Lens and Light; Surveillance Color Camera with Light, 72:1 Zoom Lens and Pan/Tilt; Black/White Drive Camera Assembly; Two (2) 30 Amp-Hour, 12 VDC Gel-Cell Batteries; 24 VDC Battery Charger; ? Turn Connectors; and Tool Kit. The F6A will include five (5) each Pneumatic Wheel Kit-Quick Release Style (#D2450-0110); five (5) each ANDROS Tabletop Controller Assembly (#E2450-8450); five (5) each Manipulator Shoulder Rotate (+/- 90 degrees) Assembly (#D2400-2500); five (5) each Wrist Pitch with 8 inch Grip Extend Assembly (#E2450-4900); five (5) each Claw Assembly (#C7045-2720); five (5) each Vertical Surveillance Camera Extend Assembly ? 24 inches (#E2400-3080); five (5) each Picture-in-Picture (#C7040-9620); five (5) each Infrared Lens Assembly (#7045-3820); five (5) each Cable Reel Assembly ? use with tabletop controller (#E7055-8600); five (5) each Fiber Optic Cable Reel Assembly-1200 foot (#C7055-8330); five (5) each Spare Spool of Fiber Optic Cable ? 1200 foot (#D7050-8323); five (5) each Radio Control Assembly-5 watt (#C7040-8440); five (5) each Dual Disruptor Mount Assembly for Precussion Activated Nonelectric (PAN) (#D2450-5350); five (5) each Shock Tube Initiator (#INIT-006); ten (10) each Laser Assembly - fits disruptor mount (#C7055-5170); five (5) each Weapons Sighting Camera (#C7150-0180); three (3) each X-ray Mount Assembly - fits Golden 200 (#E7050-5800); five (5) each Spare Battery Assembly (#D2450-1600); and five (5) each Charge Dropper Assembly (#C7055-5550). This purchase will also be for five (5) each REMOTEC REMOTE ORDNANCE NEUTRALIZATION SYSTEM (RONS) Vehicle Assembly, to include five (5) each PAN Adapter kit to be used with JROD mount. The contractor shall provide shipping for each of the ANDROS F6A systems along with the following support accessories ? five (5) each Spare parts kits (#C2450-0155); five (5) each reusable shipping crates; five (5) each Battery assembly (#D2450-1600); and five (5) each Spare battery assembly (#D2450-1600). The contractor shall provide all shipping containers and shipping for each RONS vehicle assembly unit. The contractor shall provide commercially available operator/maintenance training and manuals for the systems. Two and one-half days of training for the ANDROS F6A will be included at REMOTEC (6 People). Four (4) ANDROS F6A systems and four (4) RONS systems with accompanying accessories for each system will be delivered to Eglin AFB, FL. One (1) ANDROS F6A system and one (1) RONS system fully configured for training upon arrival, which includes all battery installations, connections, and pre-operational checks accomplished prior to shipment will be delivered to Indian Head, MD. Attachment (1), Statement of Work, can be obtained through the Naval Air Warfare Center web site located at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm. Be advised that periodic access to this web site is essential for obtaining updated information and the latest information regarding this solicitation. No further information will be posted to this web site. Award will be made in the form of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The anticipated award date is O/A 30 Aug 02. Delivery of all systems will be within six (6) months after date of contract award. The Government intends to pay by credit card. Acceptance shall be made at destination (Eglin AFB, FL and Indian Head, MD). The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 Deviation.
