Description

The Government's lease is expiring and the General Services Administration is interested in leasing approximately 81,200 rentable square feet yielding approximately 70,600 usable square feet of office space. In addition, approximately 200 secured parking spaces will be required. Delineated area: North - Lake Pontchartrain, East - Orpheum Avenue, South- I-10, West - Clearview Parkway. LEASE TERM: 5 years firm. The government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous. Prospective offers will be weighted taking into account moving, telecommunication, alterations and tenant improvement costs when deciding whether it should relocate. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing no later than August 2, 2002 and should include the following information: Address/location of site, legal description, square footage, name, address and phone number of individual to be contacted, name of recorded owner, and evidence of authority to represent the owner. Authorized contacts: In no event shall the offeror enter into discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of Federal agencies other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration. OCCUPANCY: Space should be ready for occupancy within 120-180 days of receipt of design intent drawing.
