Description

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION and DEFENSE FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION. This solicitation is unrestricted. NAICS Code ? 314991. A list of Contract Line Item Numbers are as follows: CLIN 0001: MOORING LINE 4 strand Spectra mooring line, polymide nylon, aramid overall 180,000 break strength, 312 ft total length to include 6 ft eyes on both ends with chafe gear in braids, overall braid 15 ft down from each eye Quantity ? 6 each CLIN 0002: MOORING LINE 4 strand Spectra mooring line, polymide nylon, aramid overall 180,000 break strength, 162 ft total length to include 6 ft eyes on both ends with chafe gear in braids, overall braid 15 ft down from each eye Quantity ? 4 each Required delivery date: Aug 16, 2002 FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, Commercial, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (OCT 1995) with its offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items (OCT 1995) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition and resulting contract. The resulting contract will be firm, fixed price (FFP).
