Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04684-02-T-0076 and will be issued as a request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. The NAICS code is 541350 and the size standard is $6.0 million. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. There is one line item with the work to be performed as outlined in the statement of work which is posted at the following address http://www.eps.gov under this solicitation number. Delivery to Vandenberg Air Force Base CA no later than 30 days after award. FOB: Destination. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Mar 2000) apply to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items, (Jan 1999), apply to this acquisition. Para a of the clause is completed as follows: (i) technical capability of the contractor must be an authorized, certified by ABB, factory trained field service engineer to meet the Government requirement, and (ii) price shall be used to evaluate offers. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 -- Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, (Feb 2000). The DFARS clause 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition The clause at FAR 52.212-4 -- Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, (May 1999), applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 -- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items. (Jul 2000) applies to this acquisition as well as the following additional cited FAR clauses and any additional clauses cited below are applicable to the acquisition.
