- Description
- This will be a one-year contract with one additional option year. There are 3,389 national stock numbers (NSN). The items are all in Federal Stock Class (FSC) 5935, Connectors. In order to view the items you will need to access the web as follows. Go to www.dscc.dla.mil. Next, click on "Doing Business with DSCC". Next, click on "Business Opportunities". Next, click on "Long Term Contracting Effort for Connectors (FSC 5935)". Once you get to this location you can link to detailed information on each individual NSN as well as view/download several excel spreadsheets that will provide more detailed information such as MIL-SPEC groupings, estimated quantities, and contract pricing history. Destination Information: The contract will be for stock as well as direct vendor delivery (DVD). Some items will be for stock only, some for DVD only and some for stock and DVD. Delivery times will vary, depending upon the item. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. You will be able to access a copy of the solicitation and associated attachments by going to the site identified above. In addition, you can view the solicitation via the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) which is accessed via the website identified above. In DIBBS simply click on Requests for Proposals (RFP)/Invitation for Bid (IFB). Next, key in the solicitation number and then click on search. You will then be able to view the solicitation as well as associated attachments. The solicitation will be available (ON THE WEB) on its issue date of August 9, 2002. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one year at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 2 years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). See Note 26. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered.
