Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA), has a requirement for an estimated 6,000 DON Test Kits. DON is also known as Deoxynivalenol or Vomitoxin. It is a naturally occurring mycotoxin produced by several species of Fusarium. Wet and Cool weather from flowering to maturity promotes infection resulting in scab or head blight in barley, wheat oats and rye. The solicitation, 083-M-APHIS-02, will be released on or about August 9, 2002. To download a copy of the solicitation please visit our web site at http://www.aphis.usda.gov/mpls/contracts/cbd.html. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this web site only.
