Government Procurements SUBPART: Supplies, Equipment, and Material CLASSCOD: 74_Office Machines, Text Processing Systems and Visible Record Equipment NAICS: 811212 OFFADD: Department of Veterans Affairs, Contracting Officer 90C, VA Medical Center, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Bldg 41, North Little Rock, AR 72114-1706 SUBJECT: 74-Service and Maintain Office Equipment SOL: 598-94-02 DUE: 08/30/2002 DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and labor to maintain government equipment listed in this solicitation in operating order in accordance with manufactures specifications for the period of October 1,2002 through September 30,2003. The government equipment consists of: Model S/N Description 1250M 397269 Off-Set Duplicator -------- --------- Blanket Cleaner 1450 425136 Duplicator (Off-Set Press) 1215DS 395228 Chain Delivery Stacker 2850N 380331 Systm4(Off-Set Duplicator) 2400N 31045 Master Imager 1652XE 415936 Off-Set Duplicator CHPOW PFA1986 Challenge Folder S3A3/4 6723 Acme Stitcher 1330 4111100 Mastermaker EP-867 CH265 21068 Challenge Paper Cutter Contractor shall perform full service (on-call) and preventive maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer_s specifications. Scheduled preventive maintenance shall include but not be limited to: technical inspection, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, calibrating, and replacement of all worn or damaged parts in accordance with manufacturer_s guidelines and all Federal, State and Local regulations (if applicable). For full service maintenance, the government shall call the contractor for all machine problems or failures requesting service outside of preventive maintenance schedules. Full service shall include all labor, transportation, parts and anything else required to repair the equipment to manufacturer_s specifications. Reconditioned parts are unacceptable. Should a machine have to be removed from its location, a comparable loaner machine shall be made available. Once the loaner machine is made operational, it shall stay in operation until such time as the government owned machine has been repaired, returned to its location and put back on line for use.
