Description

The 56th Contracting Squadron at Luke AFB, AZ, intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for the purchase of Tactical Aircrew Scheduling and Airspace Management System (TASAMS) software services to Data Systems Research Corporation, 1200 N. Nash St, Suite 523, Arlington, VA 22209. TASAMS is proprietary software produced only by Data Systems Research Corporation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must provide brochures/literature of the items being offered along with their quote. The technical literature submitted needs to clearly communicate the offeror?s understanding and compliance with the minimum requirements as set forth in the specifications or any alternative proposal submitted in response to this RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with the offerors; therefore, each offeror?s initial proposal should be complete and accurate. The Government requires FOB destination. FOB point is Luke AFB, AZ. The period of performance is 1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03. CLIN 0001: (12 months), Maintenance service for 12 months TASAMS support for the flight scheduling, deconfliction, and reports run for daily activities for pilots within each squadron. CLIN 0002: (2 visits), Site visits, training, and repair of the system by one person twice during fiscal year 02 (1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03). The site visits will be scheduled for Feb 03 and Jul 03 unless the Air Force and the vendor mutually agree upon other dates. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAIC code is 541511, standard: $5.0 mil. Offerors shall be submitted in writing to the contract specialist, Ms Carol Cherapan and received no later than 4:30 PM (MST) on 15 Aug 01.
