Description

The Internal Revenue Service seeks the services of a contractor to manage, update, test and provide further development of the web site entitled "Undertanding Taxes", which provides insights for students from middle schol through community college and their instructors into the Federal tax system, thier roles and responsibilities in the tax adminstration process. The development platform was delivered on June 30, 2002. the services will cover the period during the integration of the material into the IRS web site (October through December, 2002)and the launch period (estimated December 2002, until the end of the tax year 2002 filing season. Negotiations will be conducted on a sole source basis with Mazer, Inc., the site developer, which is the only source who can provide detailed knowledge of the form and structure of the site materials for this critical pre-launch and launch period.
