- Description
- The Administration on Aging (AOA) through the Division of Acquisition Management, Program Support Center (PSC), HHS, intends to modify Contract Number 231-98-0010 currently being performed by the University of Kansas. This modification will extend current contract statutory required evaluation activities for the Alzheimer's Disease Demonstration Grants to States Program (ADDGS) that encompass the collection of data, analysis and evaluation of the 33 main ADDGS projects. The evaluation entails the collection, management, and analysis of client demographic and service utilization data, as well as a process evaluation focused on systems development and successful implementation strategies. The University of Kansas shall utilize the existing approved OMB approved data collection protocols and data collection instruments in the 33 Alzheimer's Demonstration grantee states. The proposed modification for which the Government intends to solicit only one source is under the authority of FAR 6.302. Capability statements demonstrating the ability to provide the services required will be reviewed. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available, therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this modification is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received within 45 days from the date of this synopsis, the Contracting Office will proceed with award of the modification to the University of Kansas.
