Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is #1050 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. Far Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. NAICS code is 421830, Industrial Machinery and Equipment Wholesalers, with a size standard of $5M applies to this 100% small business set-aside. Alaska Job Corps Center seeks a contractor to provide to the center an All-Terrain Forklift for offloading a wide range of materials form vendor trucks on uneven and gravel type surfaces to meet the following requirements: 1) 6 to 8 thousand pound lift capacity, 2) 2 wheel drive, 3) Diesel fuel powered, 4) Full Pneumatic tires, 5) Minimum Mast height of 252", 6) Forks to be flat lumber type 48", 7) Forks to be adjustable by sliding method, 8) Side shift ability for fork rack, and 9) Back-up alarm. Both New and/or used Forklifts will be considered. Include any applicable transportation costs to the FOB point- Alaska Job Corps Center in Palmer, Alaska. Offers will be evaluated on the required specifications, past performance and price. The government may award without discussions. Award will be of best value to the Government. Offerors shall include with their quotes the certifications and representations found in FAR clause 52.121-3. Offerors must complete the required information found in this clause. Offerors can access the clause online at, www.arnet.gov. Other provisions/clauses are hereby incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors with out addenda; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items with out addenda, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (b)(12) and (14).
