- Z - SOURCES SOUGHT. The U. S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set-aside an acquisition for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns only. The estimated cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 235610 and the small business size standard is $12 million. The acquisition is for replacement of portions of the roof on the Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) and the entrance canopy of the Bachelor Officer's Quarters (BOQ). At the present time, the acquisition is expected to be issued under full and open competition procedures. However, in accordance with FAR 19.1305, if your firm is HUBZone-certified and intends to submit a bid on this acquisition, please respond by e-mail or facsimile to Ms. Victoria Worrell at vworrell@fdcclant.uscg.mil or (757) 852-3495 (fax). In your response, include a positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor. Your response is requested by July 29, 2002.
