- PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS- Kirtland AFB, New Mexico has a requirement for Transient Alert Services. A draft Statement of Work is provided for industry comment. The requirement is for a base year and four one-year options. The NAICS code is 488190, size standard $6M. The solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ), F29650-02-R-0051, will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5, and will be issued as a 100 percent Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. Non-Personal Services: The contractor shall provide all transportation, equipment, labor, supervision and materials to perform Transient Alert services for Kirtland AFB, New Mexico as indicated in the Statement of Work. The RFQ will be issued on or about 15 Aug 02 with an anticipated closing date on or about 30 Aug 02. Responses to this notice must be received by 12 Aug 02. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is www.ccr.gov. Upon issue, the RFQ will be available on the Internet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site, which is at the following address: http://eps.satx.disa.mil or http://FedBizOpps.gov. All responsible sources may submit a written quote, which shall be considered. Please note that a paper solicitation will not be issued, and all documents related to this acquisition will be posted on EPS. It is recommended that all interested sources register for this solicitation number, F29650-02-R-0051, through EPS to ensure they automatically receive all updated documents to this requirement as they are posted.
