Description

NA This project consists of nourishing approximately 1600 feet of beach along the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, located on the western limits of Michigan City, Indiana. In addition, the project will include sand monitoring activities such as aerial photo graphy, survey profiles and sediment samples. Nourishment will be accomplished by trucking or barging sand from upland sources and constructing a sand berm along the beach. The contract consists of a base year plus three option years. The estimated cost range for this project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 15 August 2002 and Bid Opening Date is 17 September 2002 @2:00 PM Louisville Local Time. This project is available from the web only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
