Description

NA This procurement is for the solicitation of a firm fixed price contract for Design and Construct Building 1001 and 1002, Fort Eustis, VA. The project is to provide design and construction services to renovate buildings 1001 and 1002, Fort Eustis, VA. Th ese buildings are three story masonry block structures commonly referred to as ?hammerhead barracks?. The renovation will include architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades. The two barracks must be renovated sequentially. The anticipa ted award value is between $5,000,000 and $5,500,000. Contract duration is 18 months. Contractors shall have have design/build experience as the prime contractor on DoD barracks, dormitory, administrative, or operations facility renovation with a contrac t value of $2,000,000 in the past five years. THIS IS AN 8(A) COMPETITIVE SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT FOR CONTRACTORS IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. NACIS CODE 233320. The receipt date for proposals is September 12, 2002. Plans and specifications will be avai lable on/about August 12, 2002. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Prospectiv e contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
