Description
NA We are looking for sources that can provide digital video recorder units (DVRU) that are able to record four (4) simultaneous channels of uncompressed (with no visible motion artifacts) 10-bit video for 30 minutes on removable hard disk drives. The DVRU may consist of one recorder with four inputs, two recorders with two inputs each, or as four recorders with one input each. Total DVRU height will be under 12 rack units and fit in a standard 19? rack. Each video channel will have composite NTSC video I/O, BNC connectors. Each video channel will have component video Input, RGB/YUV connectors. Each video channel will have an S-Video Input connectors. Each DVRU will offer an upgrade to Serial Digital Video interface for 10-bit uncompressed video. Each DVRU will offer an upgrade to Component Digital Video I/O (SMPTE 259M), SDI, 270Mbit/sec. The DVRU will include a PC Windows interface for viewing, editing, and saving of video files. Each DVRU will also provide standard video recorder Control Commands: Record, Normal Forward and Reverse Play, Stop, Fast Forward and Reverse, with video monitoring over the video NTSC output channels. The DVRU will provide a Step command that will Step through each frame and each field of video. These Control Commands will be possible through remote 100baseT Ethernet, RS232, and Front Panel Push Buttons. Each DVRU will offer an upgrade option to provide ?relay closure? control of all six Control Commands. The DVRU storage media must be removable for security of classified video and will consist of no more then 4 removable hard drives. The DVRU shall provide the ability to transfer video files from the DVRU to any PC or PC compatible hand held Hard Drive through FireWire or USB 2.0 as AVI movie files and/or single TIFF images and recording of selected video to an internal DVD+R disk reco rder. The DVRU shall provide the ability to tag IRIG Time Code on each video frame within 50usec of event accuracy, with time displayed to 1usec resolution. The DVRU shall provide the ability to place the time tag in each of the following methods as required: ea ch frame meta data field, displayed in the AVI file, displayed in each TIFF image, or not displayed.
