Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or after August 13, 2002. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This project consists of the replacement of approximately 1,125 square feet of birch wood finish flooring of random widths and lengths on the first floor of the Boott Mill Museum, Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, MA. Old flooring shall be removed, sleepers and subflooring replaced as required, new flooring treated, installed, and a natural finish applied. Alternate quote items include refinishing of existing wood floors. Construction performance period is 60 calendar days. Estimated construction range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code 235520, $12.0 million. This solicitation is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is subject to full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
