Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. Provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, for the demolition of building 607 on F. E. Warren AFB, WY. The project shall include the following elements: Demolish building 607 complete. Remove and dispose of any remaining appliances. Remove all existing concrete pads. Demolish foundation walls and other below-grade construction, including concrete foundations, footers, slabs, and pavements. Completely fill below-grade areas and voids resulting from demolition of structures. Hydro seed all areas disturbed by demolition south of new header curb and water to establishment. Protect medium voltage transformer on the Southwest corner of the building. If transformer is damaged, the contractor shall replace the item with a similar item. Provide fencing and security as needed during demolition. Faxed or telegraph offers will be accepted. Solicitation F48608-02-Q-0016 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (FAR Clauses may be found by accessing WEB site at: farsite.hill.af.mil/far1.htm). NAICS Code is 235940 (SIC is 1795). The solicitation is restricted to Small Business. The size standard is $12 million. Please refer to Attachment 1 for more specific project information. Anticipated award date is 22 Aug 02. The provisions at FAR 52.222-41 -- Service Contract Act of 1965; FAR 52.212-1 -- Instructions to Offer(s)--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. A completed, signed copy of this provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any offer. FAR 52.246-20 -- Warranty of Services applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (b) is completed as follows: within one year of acceptance by the Government. FAR 52.211-11 -- Liquidated Damages-Supplies, Services, or Research and Development applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: $68.08. Award will be made to the low responsible offeror. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This solicitation will be available via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov. At the home page select the ESP for Vendors. A series of indexes will follow requiring these selections: Select DoD, Department of the Air Force Offices, AFSPC Locations, 90 CONS, Posted Dates.
