Description

NA The US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 from the University of Maryland Horn Point Laboratory, PO Box 775, Cambridge, MD 21613 for a continuation of research on the ecophysiology o f submerged aquatic vegetation and sediment sampling in four locations in the vicinity of the Blossom Point Research Facility in accordance with the Statement of Work to be included in the RFQ. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acq uisition Procedures (SAP). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested perso ns may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be honored.
