- Malley Ave, Suite 30 Schriever AFB, CO 80912-6630 Description: The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever AFB is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for 8(a) firms to perform civil engineering and base maintenance services at Onizuka Air Force Station (OAFS), Sunnyvale CA, Air Force permitted facilities on Moffett Federal Airfield, Mountain View CA, and Camp Parks Communication Annex (CPCA), Dublin CA. Only 8A Firms are encouraged to respond. The Government intends to award a contract for a Base year with period of performance commencing on or about 1 October 2001 with eight (8) option years ending 30 September 2009. A phase-in period, if required, can commence as early as 1 August 2001. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) located at www.eps.gov as available. Important information about the mission and background of Onizuka can be found at http://www.onizuka.af.mil. This requirement will involve contractor performance of a wide range of functions required to provide complete base operating support to installation customers while focusing on quality practices. Still subject to change, the contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, transportation, materials, and supplies necessary to accomplish the complete operation, maintenance, repair, construction, equipment installation, support for real property and real property installed equipment (RPIE) located at the above locations. Parties responding to this synopsis must be prepared to maintain a consistent level of routine mission support Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1630 hours local time, mission critical support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and emergency, on-call and standby support as described in the statement of work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 56121 - Facility Support Services, with a size standard of $20M annual receipts. Special Requirement: Personnel on site must possess a favorable personnel security investigation under DOD National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The contractor must have in place a minimum of 18 personnel with current (as of 98 Oct) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) certifications by the start of the work effort after successful transition. The SSBI certifications will be processed as Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearances needed to perform this contract. Only 8(a) firms with the capability to perform should respond to this notice. If you have responded in the past and are still interested, please submit only a letter of interest. New respondents should submit evidence of 8(a) eligibility and a brief statement of capability tailored to the above requirement. Please limit your written responses to no more than five pages.
