Description
THE CORRECT VERSION OF WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY IS SHOWN BELOW. THE SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS FOR THE AMERICAN TRAUMA SOCIETY IS STILL ACTIVE----------------------- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Karen Travers, Augusta, ME 04330. The purpose of this procurement is to help critical access hospitals (CAHs) provide primary care services in under served rural communities by increasing partnerships with federally qualified health centers (FQHCs). This contract will improve collaboration between two of HRSA?s major safety-net programs: CAH (Flex) administered by ORHP and FQHC administered by BPHC. Ms. Travers has the unique skills required to accomplish this project. Ms. Travers has participated in the development of the FQHC program and has worked with numerous SORHs in the development of their State Critical Access Hospital plans and over 40 hospitals during their conversion to CHA status. Ms. Travers is the only consultant on the advisory board to Technical Assistance Service Center, which is the national resource center for the Critical Access Hospital program. Therefore, Ms. Travers is the only responsible source under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1(b)(1).
