Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Contract Facility Monitoring Section of the Program Review Division is seeking qualified individuals to provide expertise in the areas of health and food services during biannual on-site monitoring of secure adult correctional contract facilities throughout the nation. Interested parties shall be familiar with the general operational aspects of a secure adult correctional facility setting and possess subject matter expertise in the area of Health Services and/or Food Services as defined further by the Statement of Work contained in the Solicitation. Contractors will provide subject matter expertise by participation in activation inspections/Pre occupancy inspections of any new construction of secure adult correctional contract facilities or subsequent modifications to existing facilities. This acquisition is being solicited as a total small business set-aside under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 541611 with a size standard of $5.0 Million. The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), multiple award contract to offerors whose proposal in response to the solicitation, demonstrate the ?best value? to the Federal Bureau of Prisons as defined by the Evaluation Criteria contained in the Statement of Work. The Contract will contain provisions for a guaranteed minimum and an estimated maximum number of Travel Hours, Washington D.C. Work Hours, Facility On-Site Hours and Administrative Preparation Hours. The Contract will contain provisions for a 12 month Base Contract period and two (2) 12 month Option Periods. Proposals submitted in response to the solicitation will be evaluated inclusive of options. Proposals will be evaluated for Technical merit, Past Performance and Cost, with Past Performance and Technical merit carrying paramount weight in the award determination.
