Description

Federal Prison Industries intends to award a sole source contract to Imperial Adhesives, 6315 Wiehe Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237 for adhesive for the glue booth at our seating factory in Beckley, WV. The solicitation number is FN1111-02. Description: C,3304/101,FOAM -SPRAY, 55GAL, Est Qty: 300 Gallons. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with Imperial Adhesives since they are the only known source which can provide the adhesive that meets our specification. The award will result in a firm fixed price requirements type contract. Delivery shall be made FOB Destination to: UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, 1600 Industrial Park Road, Beaver, WV 25813. POC: Bret Boyd, COTR. Delivery: 10 days after receipt of each delivery order. Anticipated award will be made on August 19, 2002. Another responsible source may submit concise documentation for consideration regarding their ability to provide the required item to include any technical data. Any responses to the synopsis should provide the solicitation number, concise documentation and technical data.
