Description

SUBJECT: Solicitation No. SGM500-02-R-1132, American Consulate General Munich, Germany ? Fa?ade Renovation Project The Regional Procurement Support Office, Frankfurt intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) under full and open competition procedures for construction services in connection with the Fa?ade Renovation Project at the American Consulate General in Munich, Germany. The Project will include fa?ade work, with the removal of and replacement of stonework, replacement of windows and frames, window anchors in the whole building, metal grills on the bottom floor, and a spiral fire escape stairwell. All participating companies must have a valid facility clearance, and shall supply their CAGE code when requesting the solicitation. Construction costs are estimated to range between US$2 million and US$5 million. Potential contractors shall be in possession of or be able to acquire all required permits and licenses to perform construction work in Munich, Germany. Contractor shall obtain all locally required permits and construction-approvals. We intend to issue subject solicitation (RFP) in August 2002, and plan to hold a Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit about August 09, 2002. Closing date for receipt of initial offers is 3-4 weeks thereafter, and anticipated contract award is in September 2002. Solicitation packages will be issued to firms providing written notice of their interest to RPSO, to the attention of Wilhelm M. Fleming at above Fax numbers or E-mail address not later than August 7, 2002. Please use above subject solicitation number as reference. Firms receiving the solicitation package shall return the entire package to this office even if they do not submit an offer.
