- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tests, permits, license and supervision necessary to perform all work for project no. 544-01-900, ?Additional Parking, Building 100?, WJBD Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29209-1639. Work includes but is not limited to site preparation, curb and gutter work, asphalt paving, striping, site lighting, traffic signature, landscaping and irrigation. All work shall be in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation. . In addition, the specifications and drawings will include two (2) alternate bid items. ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED AT THE WJBD VA MEDICAL CENTER, 6439 GARNERS FERRY ROAD, COLUMBIA, SC and shall be performed pursuant to all local, state and federal regulations. One (1) pre-bid site visit is scheduled to be held on Monday, August 19, 2002, at 11:00 am, Building 20 conference room. Directions and information regarding the pre-bid site inspection meeting conference area may be directed to Mr. William b. Pollard at (803) 776-4000, ext. 7573 or (803) 695-6736 (fax). It is highly recommended that all interested parties attend this pre-bid site visit. DO NOT CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICER TO ARRANGE SITE VISITS. Cost range is between $250,000 to $500,000. This solicitation is full and open. The applicable NAICS code is 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will be ready for download o/a 8/09/02. Solicitation must be downloaded from the website listed in this announcement. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED. However, drawings will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis. Only twenty-five (25) sets of drawings on CD disk will be available. All requests for drawings and/or questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing to the Network Contracting Officer (10N7/NLO), VA Medical Center, One Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904-6285 or via fax number (706) 481-6741. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
