Description

Project No. ZNRE 02-1082, Repair 5th AF CAT (Bldg # 714), Yokota Air Base. The work includes but is not limited to: Architectural Work: Remove existing doors, frame walls; Install new cased opening, steel doors and frames; Abate existing ACM ceiling, underpayment, metal suspension system, metal suspension ceiling system; Repaint existing complete and paint surfaces in adjoining rooms where repair or new work affected existing-typical; Install new raised floor and carpet; Fill up hole for around existing cable rack. Electrical Work: Replace existing lighting fixtures with new recessed type; Replace existing exit signs with new LED type; Remove and reinstall/relocate existing fire detecting devices; Remove and reinstall/relocate other required electrical equipment; Install intrusion alarm system; Install new emergency light. Mechanical Work: Provide security bars and sound trap for air duct; Replace return air register and duct; Adjust location of exist sprinkler heads; Adjust air balance for duct systems. SITE ORIENTATION is scheduled for 6 AUG 02, 1000 HRS. All offerors are encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour (Advance notice to POC is needed. See the POC info below). NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
