Description

Remove existing limestone pavers and steps and replacing with new specified stone pavers and steps. Line item #1: Material, labor and equipment to remove existing limestone pavers and steps. Line item #2: Materials, labor and equipment to install new sandstone pavers. Line item #3: Materials, labor and equpment to install new stone steps. Submit separate quotes for each line item. Only one contractor will be awarded the contract to complete the work. Estimated cost range $25,000-$100,000. NAICS Code: 235410. This is a "full and open completion" award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. An award selection will be based on best value to the Government with price and other factors considered. No hard copies of the Request for Quotation will be mailed or issued. The Request for Quotation with attachments will be posted on the website http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 13, 2002. A site visit will be conducted at Fort Scott National Historic Site on Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. for all interested contractors.
