Description

The National Park Service, Pacific Great Basin Support Office, is seeking proposals for the rehabilitation of the National Park Service Office Space located at the American Memorial Park in Saipan, Marianas Islands. Proposals should include all necessary labor, materials, equipment and tools necessary to demolish existing non-structural walls, doors, windows, fixtures, etc., as indicated in the drawings and construct the following new items: driveway, gypsum board wall partitions, CMU walls, doors and windows, floor finishing, millwork, ceiling system, interior and exterior painting, electrical and mechanical system all as indicate in the contract drawings. Proposals for two option items should also be included. One option item is for the rehabilitation of two comfort stations and the other is for the rehabilitation of the maintenance building. The Government reserves the right to withhold award of these option items. However, these items may be awarded without discussions with offerors. Therefore the offeror's initial proposal should contain the offeror's best terms for all items from a cost or price and technical standpoint. Offeror's should submit proposals that are acceptable without additional explanation or information as the Government may make a final determination regarding a proposal's acceptability solely on the basis of the initial proposal submitted. Proposals will be evaluated based on quality (past performance, experience, qualifications of key personnel) and price. Quality is equal to price. A pre-bid conference/site visit will be scheduled (date and time will be in the solicitation). NAICS: 233320. Price range for all items including options: $500,000 - $1,000,000. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the internet at www.fedbizops.com or www.ideasec.nbc.gov approximately 15 days after the announcement date. From that website, click on Find Business Opportunity. In the field "Full Text Search" you can enter a keyword or under Search by Solicitation/Award Number you can enter the number. You may have to click this screen twice. (NOTE: There are many other search options available; i.e. search by agency, select Department of the Interior and "Show Offices for Selected Agencies" and select National Park Service) A screen will pop up showing the results of your search. When the solicitation becomes available, it will be shown as a title you can click on. (You will see one link which says synopsis and another which says solicitation.) Click on solicitation and a split screen will appear which gives you the choice of looking at the top half of the screen, the bottom half OR any of the buttons on the left side of the screen to get more details on the clauses and attachments which include drawings and specifications. RFP/RFQs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be availabe to requestors.
