Self contained forced air cooled broadband traveling wave tube microwave amplifier. Mismatch tolerance: must have output power foldback protection at reflected power exceeding 40 watts to prevent tube damage and continue operating at a reduced output power level without shutting down. Must operate without damage or oscillation with any magnitude and phase of source and load impedance. Warranty must include a full 2 year tube warranty and full 3 year warranty on the remaining equipment. The Fundamental power, continuous wave at output connector shall be: 267watts nominal, 200 watts minimum, linear at 1dB compression 100 watts minimum. Flatness at rated power shall be: plus/minus 13dB maximum. CW Power in the 2.0-2.5 GHz range shall be 100 Watts minimum . Frequency response shall be 2.5-7.5GHz instantaneously. Input for rated output shall be 1.0 milliwatt maximum. Gain at maximum setting shall be 53dB minimum. Gain adjustment (continuous range) shall be 35dB minimum. Input impedance shall be 50 ohms, VSWR 2.0:1 maximum. Output impedance: 50 ohms, VSWR 2.5:1 typical.
