- s proposal and after a determination of technical equivalence, a decision will be announced. If a contract is awarded, it is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price type contract. Contract performance will consist of a basic performance period with 4 option years. This acquisition is currently planned as a full and open competition. A brief technical description/specific functions the contractor is to provide consist of Customer Service, Unit Personnel Record Group, Awards & Decorations, Information/Workgroup Management and Personnel Systems Management. Please Note-IAW FAR Clauses 52.207-1 and 52.207-2, if the Government's proposal is determined to be more advantageous this solicitation will be cancelled and no contract will be awarded. All documents associated with this requirement will be posted on the FedBizOpps website, www.eps.gov. A draft Statement of Work was posted 18 July 2001, for industry review and comment. Interested offerors are encouraged to review and provide feedback to the Government on all draft requirement information published. The final RFP is anticipated for release about mid-August, with a project proposal due date about mid-October. These dates are subject to change throughout the procurement and interested offerors are encouraged to stay appraised of FedBizOpps postings for the most current related acquisition information. The Government reserves the right to make this a small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19 based on the interest and technical capabilities received from small business concerns in response to the solicitation announcement. In order to make a set-aside determination, small business concerns must provide sufficient written information supporting their capability to perform this requirement. Capabilities packages are limited to 5 pages and, as a minimum, should include the following: (a) degree of experience in providing same or similar service, (b) past corporate and Government contracts with current references and points of contact; (c) evidence of financial capability and technical/management resources to support a requirement of this nature and size; (d) verification that you are a small business under the NAICS code 813920, which is applicable to the requirement. Any capabilities information received is solely for the purpose of determining set-aside requirement and will not be used in the initial RFP evaluation and award. A subsequent synopsis will be published, reflecting a final determination regarding the set-aside status. To assist us in maintaining a list of interested offerors for this procurement, please provide your company name and address as well as business size under the above NAICS code, to the listed POC for this procurement.
