Description
The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit request for proposal/quote, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is for Full and Open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334515, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The reference number is F33TSD21960100, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The requirement is for ALL NEW PARTS. No USED OR REFURBISHED. This requirement is for a PC based portable Mil-Std 1553 Analyzer/Simulator consisting of a rugged portable computer, 1553 bus interface, and 1553 analyzer/simulator software fully integrated with the following specifications: Rugged Portable Computer consists of: 1) Portable industrial PC 2) 4 PCI bus slots/1 International (ISA) bus slot. 3) ISO 9001/ISO-14001 manufactured. 4) Meets MIL-STD-810C shock and vibration. 5) Slot CPU. 6) 15" TFT display. 7) Pentium 4 CPU. 8) All metal chassis for EMI/RFI rejection. 9) 1 GByte RAM. 10) 80 GByte IDE hard drive. 11) CD-R/W drive. 12) 400 Watt power supply, 85 - 135/180 - 265 VAC, 44 - 440 Hz. 13) Windows 2000 Operating System. 14) 3.5" 1.44MB Floppy drive. 15) Two RS232 serial interfaces. 16) One EPP/ECP parallel port 17) One RJ-45 10/100 Base Ethernet Interface. 18) Two USB interfaces. 19) PC supplied with hard carry case, carrier rated, pull-out handle and wheels, hermetic lid with pressure release valve. 1553 Bus Interface consists of: 1) PCIbus Card. 2) Supports two independent dual redundant 1553 streams. 3) On board IRIG-B time decoder/generator to bus traffic. 4) 200 MHz RISC Processor based. 5) Simulate up to 32 remote terminals, programmable RT response time down to 4 uSecs for each simulated RT, programmable & intelligent response to mode codes, full error injection down to word and bit level (AS4112 Compliant), multi-buffering with real time data buffer updated. 6) Chronological bus monitoring, 100 % data capture of two streams at full bus rates, time tagging of all bus traffic to 1 usec resolution including response time and gap time measurements down to 0.25 uSec resolution concurrently with BC and multiple RT operation, two static/dynamic complex triggers with up to 8 sequences, message filter and selective capture, bus activity recording independent form trigger and capture mode, external trigger inputs and outputs, programmable response time out. 7) Bus replay, electrically reconstruct previously recorded data bus traffic, recorded data files to be replayed with the ability to disable any or all RT responses from the recorded file to perform systems integration and test. 8) On board processor with RS232 debug port, dynamic data generation, automatic test sequence generation, user application processing on-board. 9) 1153 physical bus interface provides transformer or direct bus coupling with variable output transceivers and a resistive bus termination to enable the direct connection of external bus controller or remote terminal devices, coupling mode to external bus system is software programmable, variable output amplitude. 10) Memory, 2 MByte of global RAM, 16 MByte of ASP RAM. 11) Power consumption, 17.5 Watts @ 5 Volts. 12) Bus controller function, true simulation of bus controller operations without host computer interaction, autonomous operation including sequencing of minor/major frames, acyclic message insertion/deletion support, programmable BC retry without host interaction, full error injection down to word and bit level, multi-buffering for data consistency and message multiplexing, synchronization of BC operation with external trigger inputs. 1553 Analyzer/Simulator Software consists of: 1) Windows 2000 compatible. 2) System status display for quick look analysis & control. 3) Real time recording from multiple streams to PC hard disk. 4) Physical bus replay. 5) Full protocol error injection/detection. 6) Save/Load screen layouts and project files. 7) Remote setup using ASCII files.
