Description: Buck Mountain Look is a timber tower and cab lookout, and is on the National Historic Register. Work for this project will consist of removing and rebuilding the wooden lookout cab walls; including framing, finish, trim, and window frame woodwork; rebuilding the lookout cab shutters; removing and rebuilding the wooden catwalk flooring and railings; removing and rebuilding the wooden stairway; replacing one treated timber structural tower member; and installing lighting protection system components. Government Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Funding is unavailable at the current time but is anticipated for FY03
