- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1390022030200 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being set aside 100% for small business concerns. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421850. The solicitation can be viewed at http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation package includes the request for quote. There are 0002 contract line items with a quantity of sixty (60) each. CLIN 1 is for liners for Aero Commando Aluminized Coats, manufacturer: Lion Apparel, Product Line: Janesville. CLIN 2 is for liners for Aero Command Aluminized Pants, manufacturer: Lion Apparel, Product Line: Janesville. Delivery of the equipment is f.o.b. destination to Scott AFB IL. The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Subparagraph (b)(7) is changed to read: Any resulting contract will be subject to FAR 52.232.33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment. The FAR provision 52-212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Price. Award will be based on the best value to the government. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, must be submitted with quote. The provision may be copied from website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/reghtml/far/52_000.htm. Proposals will not be considered without the completed provision. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The FAR clause, 52.232-18, Availability of Funds applies to this acquisition. The clauses at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration apply to this acquisition. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) does not apply to this acquisition. Quotes are due to this office NLT 4:00 p.m. CDT on 7 Aug 02.
