Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Rehabilitation of the Jehossee Island Dike/Water Control Structure at ACE BASIN National Wildlife Refuge, Charleston County, SC . Work includes, but is not limited to; Clearing trees, rehabilitation of road/dike, repairing bulkhead, extending bulkhead wall, construction and demolition of coffer dams and dewatering . This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 23499. The size standard is $27.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 8/12/02, with a 30 day closing. Requests for RFQ shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401812Q197, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice To Proceed. The anticipated award date is 9/16/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
