- 17. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to procure a quantity of nine (with an option for nine additional) AN/SYS-2 (V)11 Integrated Automatic Detection and Tracking (IADT) Systems from Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), Norden Systems of 65 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747. The contractor shall procure material, fabricate, assemble, inspect, test and deliver the AN/SYS-2 (V)11 (IADT) Systems. The contract will be a firm fixed-price (FFP) type contract. NGC is the original designer, developer, and the sole producer of the AN/SYS-2 (V) IADT System. As such, NGC is the only known firm possessing the requisite technical expertise and background to perform and provide all necessary services, facilities, resources, management, and engineering required to produce and deliver the hardware and necessary reports being procured under this contract in a cost effective manner wh ile minimizing the impact on the AN/SYS-2 (V)11 deliveries to the Navy. The contract will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This synopsis is for informational purposes only and the benefit of potential subcontractors. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein.
