Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service intends to award on a Sole Source basis the following requirements for Electronic Internet Access for Library Subscription Services on behalf of all current employees, contractors, cooperators and volunteers performing work on behalf of USDA. All users listed above will be acting within the scope of their relationship with USDA, and any public on-site users, who are duly authorized by the Government to access USDA's secure intranet. This access is for ordinary business, scholarly and educational purposes of the Government, and for personal use, consistent with the Fair Use provisions of the United States and international copyright laws. The sole source awards are intended to be awarded to the following companies listed below for the period beginning September 30, 2002 through August 1, 2003 with additional option years as specified: (14)-ISI Current Contents and ISI Web of Science on ISI Web of Knowledge platform (base year w/3 option years); (15)-ISI Backset File for Web of Science on ISI Web of Knowledge platform (base year only); (16)-IDEAL by the Elsevier Science Direct platform (base year w/3 option years).
