Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Southern Plains Area, has a project entitled Phase I, Chiller Replacement. The project is located at the Southern Plains Agricultural Research Center in College Station, Texas. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision for the replacement of chiller #1 including demolition, removal, and disposal of existing chiller and installation of new chiller, piping electrical work, and associated equipment. The work includes but is not limited to the following Major Divisions of Work: 1) General Conditions, 2) Sitework/ Demolition, 3) Concrete, 4) Masonry, 5) Metals, 6) Divisions 6 & 7, not included, 8) Doors and Windows, 9) Divisions 9-14 not included, 15) Mechanical, and 16) Electrical. There will be a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for the plans and specifications. To request plans and specifications, mail your request on company letterhead and include a Cashiers Check or money Order payable to "USDA, ARS, SPA". Plans and specifications may also be picked up in person at the following address: USDA, ARS, SPA. 7607 Eastmark Dr., Suite 230 College Station, Texas 77840.The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to be issued o/a August 5, 2002. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All requests must reference IFB #10-7MN1-02. The estimated Price Range is: $250,000 to $500,000.
