- Description
- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotes to provide VA Hospital Tomah Outpatient Primary Care services to its beneficiaries in the Wausau, Wisconsin area on an outpatient basis for approx 2000 patients starting approx November 4, 2002. The location of services must be within 10 miles of the city of Wausau, WI. Period of performance will be base year plus four option years. Contract type will be firm fixed price issued under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 USC 8153. The NAICS number is 62111. The successful offeror shall furnish health care providers, medical facilities, medical equipment and supplies and all administrative functions to fulfill the level of care and range of services necessary to meet the primary medical health needs of the enrolled Department of Veterans Affairs beneficiaries. This will include initial prescription drugs/medications. It is anticipated that the date the services will begin is November 4, 2002. Electronic version and hard copy of the solicitation will be available on or around August 2, 2002. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer at the GLAC and accompanied by a check for $5.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
