Description

The 56th Contracting Squadron at Luke AFB, AZ, intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for one base year and four option years for the purchase of maintenance service for CT Scanner and components to GE Medical Systems, W-443M 3000 N Grandview, Waukesha WI. GE Medical Systems has proprietary rights to the software and hardware. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must provide brochures/literature of the items being offered along with their quote. The technical literature submitted needs to clearly communicate the offerors understanding and compliance with the minimum requirements as set forth in the specifications or any alternative proposal submitted in response to this RFQ. Discussions may or may not be held with the offerors; therefore, each offerors initial proposal should be complete and accurate. The Government requires FOB destination. FOB point is Luke AFB, AZ. The period of performance is 1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03. Maintenance is required for the following: CT Scanner, 3M Laser Imager; 3M Laser Camera; Mark IV Pressure Injector; and maintenance for Windows Workstation. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 421450, standard: 500 employees. Offerors shall be submitted in writing to the contract specialist, Ms Carol Cherapan and received no later than 4:30 PM (MST) on 15 Aug 01.
