Description

The 45th Contracting Squadron has a Sole Source requirement for Deployable Static and Dynamic B-Field Ground Truth Suite to include Quantity of 1 each of the following equipment: HSM-2 Station Magnetometer ? Mfr. #946, MGC-1 Single Axis Induction Coil Sensor (5Hz-10 kHz) ? Mfr. #915, MGCH-2 Single Axis Induction Coil Sensor (10Hz-100 kHz) ? Mfr. #768, MGC-3 Single Axis Induction Coil Sensor (0.2 Hz-1.0 kHz) ? Mfr. #884, SAM-3 Single Axis Sensor Signal Conditioner ? Mfr. #766, TCM-1A Three-Channel Sensor Signal Conditioner (5 Hz-10 kHz) (with Internal Rechargeable Battery) ? Mfr. #879. This is a Sole Source with MEDA, Inc.-IAW FAR Part 6.302-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the individuals listed below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider all responses received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Important Notice: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration requires registration in the CCR database. This is a Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334519, the SIC Code is 3829 and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. These products are for the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC). Delivery is due on or before 15 Sep 02. Anticipated award date on or about 21 Aug 02. No solicitation document exists or will be issued. The 45th Contracting Squadron has determined that MEDA, Inc is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Equipment will be incorporated into the existing MEDA hardware. Other equipment would render existing hardware virtually useless. Phone calls will not be accepted. SEE NUMBERED NOTE 22.
