- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F45613-02-Q-A045 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 421830. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The contractor shall provide 1 each hose assembly machine for rapid assembly/disassembly of aircraft hose with reusable fittings. With standard set of dies and tooling for 37 degree flared JIC fittings. Machine must be approved for aircraft-specific hoses. Eaton Aeroquip P/N S1416K-1-2 Rev:D, or equal as listed on the attached Pricing Schedule, which is incorporated as part of this solicitation and can be downloaded at link: www.eps.gov.
